On November 17th, the Executive Committee for the Guangdong Division of China's 15th National Games held a press conference at the Games' main press center in Guangzhou. The event focused on promoting the unique sports characteristics of five cities: Shenzhen, Shanwei, Dongguan, Jieyang, and Yunfu. Over 40 foreign journalists attended the press conference.

Le Prince Elidad Mode Elenga, a radio journalist from Congo, shared his appreciation for the three cities of Guangdong he had visited. As he discovered more about Guangdong, he found it incredibly beautiful and amazing, and he looked forward to exploring this region further. He admitted the event had surpassed his expectations, providing him with a deeper understanding of sports' significant role in these cities of Guangdong. He particularly enjoyed a children's performance, describing it as a novel and wonderful experience.
